The first official JCEG event is the dinner Wednesday night at 6pm at Nighttown on Cedar Road..

All meetings will be held in the Bolton Brush Growth Study Center. We will provide lunch on Thursday and Breakfast on Friday. Dinner Thursday night is on your own.

Again in 2014!! Pre JCEG Update on OpenSource software and 3D registration- Wed November 1PM to 5PM at the School of Dental Medicine.
This 4 hour workshop for the first 20 registered attendees require participants to bring a MAC laptop computer capable of running high end graphics based programs.

3D Registration Workshop Content:

12:00pm Trouble shoot any problem attendees may have had downloading the software from the website.
Please try to download the software ahead of time.

1:00pm Introductory presentations (20 Mins each )

• 3D image analysis: an overview. Beatriz Paniagua

• 3D registration: remodeling and displacement in relative superimpositions. Lucia Cevidanes

• 3D data: A chair side perspective. Tung Nguyen

2:00pm Hands-­‐on workshop: (3 hours)

• How to load CBCT and Surface models in new CMFreg module in Slicer 4.3 open source software.

• How to correct for differences in CBCT acquisition at different time points in Slicer 4.3.

• How to register the images and save them as surface models in Slicer

• How to visualize surface meshes overlays in Slicer
