Shofu Dental provides a free companion software called SureFile which facilitates the download of the images, and stores the images in a customizable and anonymous folder structure.
Because SureFile is not able to deal with the DICOM file format, Shofu had to come up with some kind of compatible way to save how the photograph was manipulated, and opted to use the filename for that (by using suffixes like _Mirr_, _Isol_, _BW_, ...).
